  • Public speaker.
  • Author of Fugue, now in its third expanded edition, 2016. 
  • Facilitator for In the Wildflowers, breaking the bonds of sexual abuse.
  • Was Co-leader for Into the Light from June 2012 to December 2016. She brought her love and homemade treats from members in our church to 150 exotic dancers each month. 
  • Author of Fugue, I can’t remember how I got here, a memoir about growing up in a violent home, North Star Press, available August 2011.
  • Author of Good-Bye Mom & Dad, A children’s book for adults only, because there was a time when you were little, but never a child, for adults who were sexually abused as children to aid in their healing. Available August 2011.
  • Received a grant in 2009 from the McKnight Foundation to work with a literary professional mentor to help prepare Fugue for publication.    
  • Received child sexual abuse training from Darkness to Light.
  • Received domestic abuse training from The Refuge Network.
  • Contracted by Papillon Libre, a national nonprofit organization working to stop the secrecy surrounding child molestation by raising awareness and advocating for victims and their loved ones.
  • Member of RiverVoices writer’s group.
  • Member of Toastmasters International from 2009 to 2013. 
    • Voted Toastmaster of the Year in 2010 and 2011 by her club.
    • Placed first in competitions.
